Superior Hiking Shuttle is welcoming our 6th year of providing professional shuttle service for our customers! We deeply thank our wonderful customers for supporting our local business for over five years.
As we gear up for the 2019 hiking season, we are excited to share that we have added 5 NEW trail head pickup/drop-off locations, for a total of 52 now, to better accommodate our customers on both shorter and longer hikes.
Our online reservation system has also been enhanced, making it easier than ever to navigate through the reservation process.
In addition, we’ve upgraded our shuttle fleet, adding a larger vehicle that can hold more backpacking and hiking equipment.
We’re also happy to announce our Expanded Customized Shuttle Service, that provides non-hiking shuttle options to our customers. Check out the details below.
Avoid the Insects
FYI – May can be a great month to get out and hike due to less insects/ticks, fewer people, and the ability to see more of Superior Hiking Trails beauty before it springs forth and fills in. Bring a friend or two to share the experience with and create lasting memories. However, be sure to check out the most current trail conditions first.

Superior Hiking Shuttle Schedule
The 2019 Superior Hiking Shuttle schedule is now available to view and download. In addition to the 5 NEW trail head locations added, we’ve included three major holidays listed below on the regular SCHEDULED shuttle reservation list.
With more than 52 trailheads to choose from amongst the 300+ miles of The Superior Hiking Trail, SHS’s service covers the entire length of the trail starting at Wild Valley Road trailhead, located just beyond Jay Cook State Park, continuing north to the Canadian border.
The SCHEDULED shuttles run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from May 10th to October 13th…now including Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day. Check out our shuttle schedule for the latest updates on trailhead pickup and drop off locations and times.

Customized Shuttle
For hiking plans that don’t necessarily fit into our Friday, Saturday and Sunday Scheduled shuttles, you have the option to reserve a Customized Shuttle. The CUSTOMIZED SHUTTLE lets you pick the day and time to meet at the trailhead of your choice. Custom Shuttle Reservations are primarily offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. However, at times, we may be able to accommodate weekend Customized Shuttles.
FYI – To accommodate larger groups, SHS can utilize enclosed trailers to transport bikes, equipment, and/or larger items. Contact us at 218-834-5511 to inquire about availability, or click the link below to begin your shuttle reservation.

Expanded Customized Shuttle Service
CUSTOMIZED SHUTTLES are also available for non-hiking patrons who want to enjoy the beautiful scenic Northshore, attend local events, go sightseeing/biking/camping, or plan family/friend day outings and picnics. In addition, we offer courier and delivery services. SHS’s goal is to provide shuttle service to customers whenever possible, simply contact us at 218-834-5511 with your details.
