Superior Shuttle Service – Cancellation Policy:
We require being notified at least twenty four (24) hours prior to your shuttle for a refund. Call (218) 834-5511 for any changes or cancellations. If we were unable to answer your call, please do not just leave a voice mail message. Instead please immediately send us a text message at (218) 834-5511 with the details of your reservation (name, reservation departure date and time, phone number) and the changes you wish to make.
For cancellations and changes, our experience has shown that a text message works better than a voice mail message because we can instantly see your request, and sometimes voice mail messages can be hard to understand. Detailed text messages make everything clear.
We take our cell phone with us when we are driving the shuttle, so we are notified immediately when you send a text message.
Cancellations should not be considered complete until you have received a response back from us. Thank you!
Since shuttles and drivers are scheduled in advance and reserved for your exclusive use, and most hikers plan well in advance, we have developed a progressive refund policy. The closer it gets to your reservation date, the more difficult it becomes for us to replace your reservation, so the cancellation fee is higher. Our desire is that if you need to cancel a reservation, you will do it far in advance to give us enough time to replace your reservation.
Here are the progressive cancellation fees:
- Cancellations greater than 3 days (72 hours) in advance of your reservation date and time: 20% of your reservation cost (rounded to the nearest dollar) or $15, whichever is greater
- Cancellations greater than 2 days (48 hours) and less than 3 days (72 hours) in advance of your reservation date and time: 30% of your reservation cost (rounded to the nearest dollar) or $25, whichever is greater
- Cancellations greater than 1 day (24 hours) and less than 2 days (48 hours) in advance of your reservation date and time: 40% of your reservation cost (rounded to the nearest dollar) or $40, whichever is greater
- Cancellations less than 1 day (24 hours) in advance of your reservation date and time: no refund is available
We will consider severe weather cancellations within the twenty four (24) hour period. Our preference is to move the reservation to another day. If that is not possible, we will consider your cancellation request.
Please keep in mind that the number of vehicles covering the route on any given day is determined by the number of advanced reservations. If you let us know after the vehicles have departed our starting point it will not be possible to give a refund, even due to severe weather. We appreciate your understanding.
