Hiking Offers Numerous Health Benefits

As technology and the information age accelerates at rapid speeds, you may find it more and more difficult to disconnect from the constant bombardment of information, much of which is typically negative and increases levels of stress in your life.

A simple solution to address this issue is getting out in nature and hiking on a trail for a minimum of 15 minutes.  While longer hikes can produce even more beneficial results, a 15-minute hike is all it takes to realize physiological changes.

In comparison, the benefits of hiking differ substantially from urban walking.  While walking in an urban setting you are getting exercise, however, the benefits do not compare because you are surrounded by manmade settings that encompass perpetual increased awareness, resulting in added stress.

Whereas, hiking in nature effectively reduces stress and mental fatigue, increases creative thinking, and leaves you feeling refreshed and renewed.  The bottom line is that hiking can help you realize an abundance of both physical and emotional benefits in as little as 15 minutes.
